Osteopathic research, science, and evidence are essential for the recognition of osteopathy. For this reason, the Association of Osteopaths e.V. (VOD) actively and with great commitment supports research projects, studies, and scientific discourse. In addition, the VOD contributes to the publication of studies through regular reports on osteopathic research in the German Journal of Osteopathy and provides financial support for the development of an osteopathy online database, which is expected to be available in mid-2021.
The VOD website presents a clear and well-structured overview not only of existing studies but also of surveys conducted on osteopathy and the institutions dedicated to osteopathic research.
