Children’s Osteopathy in Düsseldorf

Gentle treatment of babies, children & adolescents

Osteopathy for babies and children in the heart of Düsseldorf

In the heart of Düsseldorf – on the quieter side of Königsallee – we provide gentle pediatric osteopathy for children and adolescents in a modern, spacious practice where the whole family feels comfortable. We take our time, listen carefully, and always treat holistically: gentle manual techniques support your child’s body in regaining its balance. If desired, we collaborate with your pediatrician and, if needed, draw upon our established local network.

Pediatric osteopathy is a specialization within osteopathy. It takes a holistic view of the child’s organism, considering the age-related characteristics of the growing body. This can begin as early as the course of pregnancy, the baby’s position in the womb, and the type and duration of birth, as these factors can influence the early development of infants. The goal of pediatric osteopathy is to support the body’s own regulatory mechanisms and promote balance within the organism using gentle manual techniques.

Trained professionals with in-depth specialization in pediatric osteopathy

You benefit from sound qualifications: In Germany, pediatric osteopathy should ideally be based on several years of osteopathic training plus additional specialization for infants and children. We combine this professional qualification with a professional atmosphere where your child is the focus.

Our friendly, skilled, and experienced practice team welcomes you in the center of Düsseldorf!

What does a treatment involve?

Scheduling: Each treatment is tailored to your child’s individual needs; as a guideline, 30–50 minutes should be planned per appointment.

Consultation & Anamnesis: At the beginning, we conduct a detailed consultation with the parents (and – depending on age – with the child) to understand complaints, observations and possible connections.

Examination: A thorough osteopathic examination follows. We always consider the child in its entirety – posture, mobility, breathing, and other relevant structures.

Treatment: Based on the findings, we use very gentle techniques tailored to the child’s age. The baby or child always remains as safe and secure as possible – in contact with a caregiver, lying down, sitting, or being held.

Consultation & Support: Finally, we provide personalized guidance for everyday support (e.g., positioning, handling, breastfeeding or nutritional adjustments in dialogue with the appropriate professionals) and, if necessary, recommend interdisciplinary coordination.
