Rainbow Land children’s hospice

We are delighted to be able to support music therapy at the Regenbogenland children’s hospice this year.

The Regenbogenland children’s hospice is a home for children who have a limited life expectancy due to an incurable illness or severe disability. Regenbogenland is a place where the focus is on life and the joy of living. It is a facility that aims to help families to make the time they have left with their child as fulfilling and positive as possible.

On the one hand, a children’s hospice should become a second home for the children concerned, to which they would like to return again and again for short stays in a pleasant family atmosphere. They receive the best possible care and support from specially trained staff.

On the other hand, a children’s hospice provides relief for the whole family and supplements care at home. After all, caring for and nursing terminally ill and/or severely disabled children at home is a task that often leads to very special burdens for families over many years. By offering temporary accommodation to the children concerned, their parents and siblings, the hospice aims to supplement care and nursing at home within the family and thus help prevent the children concerned from having to be separated from their families for long periods of time.
