Forsa survey on osteopathy in Germany

In June 2018, the opinion research institute Forsa conducted a representative survey on osteopathy on behalf of the German Association of Osteopaths (VOD e.V.), which produced highly interesting results.

Almost one in five of those surveyed had already been . The high level of patient satisfaction was also remarkable. 4 out of 5 were very satisfied or satisfied with osteopathic treatment. However, more than two thirds of respondents mistakenly believed that the qualification of an osteopath was regulated by law. Unfortunately, this is still not the case. In this respect, we recommend that all patients always find out about the training and experience of the therapists.
